This art class is a meeting place for cultures and stories. People from different backgrounds come together to create, share and connect, with English as our common ground. What you paint or draw is not so important because the focus is on exchange, conversation and being present together. While hands move across paper, ideas flow and connections grow. With tea and cookies, there is plenty of space for curiosity, and relaxed creativity. And if inspiration is needed, the teacher always has a few ideas to share.
